Chief Product Officer
As the Chief Product Officer, the job is all about teaming up with the other leadership to get the product portfolio right that leverages the company’s competitive differentiation and helps meet both current year’s projections and future objectives.
The role entails:
- Identifying the “north star” metric and ensuring the products in the product portfolio mutually reinforce each other.
- Throughout the product life cycle, evaluate which products should be retired, which products need to be doubled on, and what are the new areas of leverages opening up.
Last but not least, the Chief Product Officer is responsible for budgeting and maintaining the overall health of the product organization.
